TICKET CONTRACT

Buying a ticket implies entering into an agreement under the terms and conditions of Navimag Ferries S.A. for passenger transportation.

 

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

A deposit of 30% of the total reservation is required to secure a tentative reservation (Valid only for reservations made 60 days or more in advance). Final payment of the remaining balance must be received by “the company” 30 days before the departure of the ferry.

 

CANCELLATION AND CHANGE POLICIES

Passengers may desist to make the journey and cancellation will be subject to the following conditions which apply to the ticket paid or the deposit.

 The following penalties will apply for cancellation of a reservation as soon as “the company” receives written notice:
a) More than 45 days prior to the scheduled departure of the ship, 0% penalty.
b) Between 44 days and 15 days prior to ship’s departure, 30% penalty.
c) Between 14 days and 7 days prior to ship’s departure, 50% penalty.
d) Between 6 days and 48 hours prior to ship’s departure, 70% penalty. 
e) Within 48 hours of the scheduled departure time of the ship, 90% penalty.
f) After the departure of the ship, 100% penalty. 

The percentages of the penalties specified above, will be made on the total value of the ticket booked, including both security deposits and the tickets themselves.

Any passenger who desires to postpone the date of journey indicated on the ticket must make this request to the company a minimum of 48 hours prior to the time of departure of the ship and pay a sum equivalent to 10% of the cost of the ticket in order for the company to authorize the change.

 

POLICIES FOR CHILDREN

Infants between 0 and 3 years old, 80% discount when sharing a bed with their parents. Children between 4 and 12 years old, 20% discount when sharing a room with an adult.

 

RATES AND DEPARTURES

“The company” reserves the right to modify the rates and the dates of departure without prior notice.

 

FERRY CONDITIONS

Rates include accommodations, sea transportation, onboard entertainment, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Rates do not include port fees of $10 per person.
Optional tours and transportation at ports are not included in the ferry rates.
Alcoholic drinks are not included, and are not allowed to be brought, sold or consumed onboard our ferries.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Diners credit cards, traveler’s checks, US Dollars, Chilean Pesos, and wire transfers.
