How to get to Punta Arenas
260 kilometers south of Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas is the most important city in the Magallanes Region. This city lies 3,090 kilometers to the south of Santiago. Arrival by air is via the Carlos Ibañez Del Campo Airport.
Navimag Ferries sail from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales and from Puerto Natales to Puerto Montt, on a voyage through lovely Patagonian scenery. Upon reaching Puerto Natales you can travel on by road to Punta Arenas.
Departures from Puerto Montt are on Fridays and from Puerto Natales on Tuesdays throughout the year.
