By means of this letter, I want to inform you and share with you the development plans we are undertaking as company:
- Over the first quarter of the year, Magallanes Ferry’s engines were replaced with new German engines; this change is aimed at maximizing the efficiency of our operation and at delivering a steady service over time.
- The company is currently designing a third ferry that will be incorporated to our fleet in 2009. This vessel will have a 350 passenger capacity and 1,377 meters of loading capacity.
- Within this change and renovation process, it must be noted that as of this month, the Magallanes ferry will be renamed after one of the most emblematic ships in the history of Navimag: Evangelistas; we know that from a marketing point of view, the change of the name is a process that needs times; however, we are certain that we will work hand in hand with all our customers to achieve a positive result. In practical terms, today we will start implementing the changes at our Web page and brochures, where the ferry will appear as Evangelistas Ferry (formerly Magallanes).
Sincerely,
Francisco Alvarez Pais.
