Puerto Natales – Puerto Montt Route Departure Has Been Rescheduled
As instructed by the Chilean maritime authority, the Magallanes ferry, during its regular Puerto Natales – Puerto Montt itinerary, was asked to take part in the rescue and aid of “Punta Bruja” vessel crew that wrecked with 9 crew members near Melinka Island (south of Chiloe).
The Magallanes ferry participated in the rescue efforts all night long. Therefore, departure scheduled for today, Monday, November 13th, at 4 pm had to be rescheduled just like the departure originally scheduled form Puerto Natales to Puerto Montt for this Friday 17th morning (with boarding on Thursday night)
Arrival of Magallanes Ferry to Puerto Natales is estimated at 10 am on Friday 17th. Therefore, the trip to Puerto Montt will not include the extra night on board on Thursday.
Please note the following information for the Friday 17th departure:
Check in with luggage 09.00 am to 12.30 pm
Check to board 02.00 pm
Estimated departure time from Puerto Natales 04.00 pm
Estimated timer arrival at Puerto Montt: Monday, November 20th. 12.00 pm
