I would like to warmly welcome you and take this opportunity to inform you that NAVIMAG Ferries counts on a well-known reputation of more than 25 years as a company engaged in the sea transport of cargo from the southernmost regions (i.e., wood, animals, fish and seafood) of our continent as well as in the transportation of passengers who are seeking to visit the beauty of the Patagonia by this means of transport. Within this framework, we are pleased to present the result of a work that broadens our actions by encompassing the collection of topics that are interesting for all those people who decide to travel with us to the southernmost areas of Chile on a daily basis. Each person travelling with our company does not only improve his/her cultural assets with the flora, fauna and landscapes he/she is able to enjoy, but he/she also participates and contributes to the social development and integration of the southernmost regions to the rest of the national territory.

The purpose of “Patagonian Traverse” is to travel with our passengers and clients through a journalistic journey across the various places and activities that make up the trips carried out by our company with its Magallanes and Puerto Edén ferry boats. The magic and pristine beauty of the fjords, channels, clear ice and waters combine perfectly with the peacefulness of a unique experience in the world that is worth to be represented on paper and imbue with its story those who decide to visit these natural beauties, as a memory they’ll cherish forever.
