Weather

The predominant climate in the navigational zone of Navimag is the "Rainy Maritime" which extends from Puerto Montt to the northern part of the Magellan region bordering the zone of the islands that constitute the channels. This is a rainy climate (annual precipitation is registered between 2000 and 4000 millimeters), low temperatures and little thermal oscillation.

Seasons

Navimag's FerryWhatever time of the year you plan your trip, the landscape and the natural light play an important role, dramatizing the setting and enriching your experience.

During the winter months a tranquil atmosphere prevails, providing for a calm navigation, showing the grandeur of the snow capped summits and the vegetation in its entire splendor. In this season the characteristic winds of the Patagonia diminish their intensity and resume force at the beginning of the next season, summer.

During the summer months, the days are longer and more luminous, causing the winter to shrink, returning the green to the trees, renewing the colors of the landscapes and permitting the reflection of the abundant vegetation in the crystalline water of the Patagonian Channels.

Independent of the season of the year in which you travel, this will be a unique and unrepeatable experience.
